A wee trip to Kelpies Hub, Scotland July ’18

On a sunny Sunday afternoon we made a wee family trip to Falkirk, Scotland to see Kelpies Hub or the Helix.

The Kelpies is world’s largest (30m) equine sculptures and were created by the sculptor Andy Scott, who used traditional engineering methods to sculpt the 300-tonne horse heads.

The hub is an open space with the extension to the Forth and Clyde Canal that is located next to the sculptures, this creates a lovely space for people to walk and cycle.
